Stormcloud Wool Handknit BeBeret

This darling BeBeret, sized for a 12 month-old baby, is handknit from three different grey wools, and some sunny yellow wool, too! The soft yellow brim (18"/46 cm around) blossoms into a generous "poof-top" 10"/26 cm across, with a patterned seed stitch at the hat's widest stripe. Up at the very tip-top is another round of sunshine yellow, and a short grey I-cord stem.

This BeBeret is soft and warm, and very strong; wool is a perfect fiber for babies' things, and all four of the yarns in this hat are comfy and cozy, NOT itchy. Gently handwash this hat and dry flat, with a plate inside to give the brim its distinctive shape. You can blow dry the hat to speed its drying-- just be careful not to toast the yarn!
