A bright blue star beaded jute macramé anklet. Clasp is handmade with 20 gauge wire. Anklet is 10" is size giving a below ankle look.

My Art & Craft
I started using knots in macramé 15 years ago. I now use knots daily at work. I have studied, by reading & applications, the knots that I use in my handcrafted items for their durability. Most importantly I have studied the materials(cord, line, rope) stretch & construction that I use. I take into consideration the reduction of the ropes strength & how it will be used. Knotting reduces the strength of a rope, line or cord by up to 50 percent depending on the knot used.
