Abstract and playful.........I caught a glimpse, in my scrap pile, of what became the smile on the face of this small shoulder bag and thought how fun it would be to find other bits and parts and create a character like no other on the front side of this piece. As the bag took shape, I envisioned dreadlocks, and took a trip to a local yarn shop, finding this variegated skein with just enough contrast and a little glitz to accent the rich colors in the fabrics. The result of this one of a kind bag is a functioning art piece that is sure to turn heads and bring a smile and Ja to whom ever you meet
