Mica has some transparent properties and allows the makeup to go on smoothly.

Titanium Dioxide also has waterproof and SPF properties while providing a Matte look, and can help reduce irritation and redness.

Zinc Oxide is known for its healing properties in problem skin such as roseacea and acne, its ability to stay on even while sweating and swimming, and offers protection from the sun's harmful UV rays.

Iron Oxides are naturally occurring minerals used for creating color.

Ultramarine Blue is required in some cool shades of makeup since there is no blue oxide.

Kaolin Clay is a very mild fluffy clay which is safe for all skin types including dry, sensitive skin. It has great covering ability, is able to absorb fats from the skin, refines pores & helps clear up breakouts. Kaolin has soothing properties and is ideal for sensitive skin.

These are our makeup ingredients, pure and simple. No additives, chemicals, or other fillers.
This is also the order of ingredients for foundation, and the other products contain only some or all of these ingredients also.

Mineral makeup stays on for longer since it doesn't crease or smear easily. Since Pink Quartz Minerals range of make up products is non-comedogenic, these items are ideal for those with acne and sensitive skin.

They also offer the benefit of protecting the skin from the sun. Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide offer natural, broad-spectrum sun protection and have anti-inflammatory properties.
Mineral makeup foundation leaves you looking more natural without the heavy made up look. Since minerals are inert and inorganic, unlike cornstarch and rice powders used in other makeups, they do not support microbial growth, and the makeup has an INDEFINATE shelf life!

Pink Quartz Minerals makeup products do not contain oils and waxes that adversely affect the skin. As a result, the skin gets to breathe and yet is protected from pollutants and harsh sun glare.

Pink Quartz Minerals foundations are matte, never shiny or glossy like other mineral makeup brands can be. We also carry matte eye shadows and blushes, along with the shimmers and pearls.

If you have a particularly hard to cover area, you can use a dab of your moisturizer and a tiny amount of mineral foundation. Mix and apply. After it dries, go over with the loose mineral foundation. Or you can use our new Concealer, formulated for light-medium skin.

Do not buy mineral makeup with Bismuth Oxychloride (like most of the major name brands.. seen on TV) because it can accentuate pores and cause break-outs on sensitive, acne prone, and/or skin with roseacea.
