I´m very into the mood of the new competition at Dawanda on the Unbirthday party (did you hear about?) because I´m so very curious about the new Alice in Wonderland film! The old one is a classic here at home, my N. love it. Therefore today you´ve got my picture as The Mad Hatter. The little feet at the right down corner in the picture is from Alice in person! ;)
Most of the handbags I make are one-of-a-kind. I also like to sew purses and pouches, and all kind of small bags for little
treasures, and they are many times also one-of-a-kind, or a small and limited serie.
One of the cases I like the most to make is the book cover (known at limabaum´s shop as "book-shelter" :)), this because I love books and like to think what I am doing will protect books on their daily journeys around the world, helping to preserve them and so to last longer for the generations to come.
All of this bags and cases are made by myself at home (smoke and pet free), most of the time listening my favorite musics (good singing/dancing energy on them ;). I use only high quality materials, usually pure cotton and linen, and sew with a lot of care, sewing twice where I think is good to have an extra strength (on the handbags handles, or pouches zipper corners, for example.) I make my bags as if I would be making them to myself, with care to details, and to last long.
