Über mich

Hi, I'm Katherine. I moved to Brittany, France in 2004, with my wonderful husband and two lovely daughters. When I left England I told my friends my plan was to grow vegetables and look after chickens, which I did, as well as five cats. Sadly, the chickens have gone, but I keep on with the vegetables and have started making chutneys and jams.

In 2008 I discovered jewellery making, thanks to a friend and quickly became addicted to the beautiful items one can make with the simplest of beads and findings. Up to now I have been selling my jewellery at local fairs and artisan markets and on Facebook to family and friends. I also have quite a few commissions in my repertoire. My jewellery has even been in England ‘On Tour’ with a friend, touring Leicester and Liverpool (a few more commissions received as a result).

I am in the process of opening a workshop attached to our house here, so that I can allow people to pop in and browse while I am working at a new creation. This will also be a good outlet for my homemade jams and chutneys (who knows I may even sell these online one day as well!)
