Welcome to Kara Gems. My name is Rachel and I live in France. I have been making jewellery for the past year. I starting making pieces for family and friends which then led to commissions. While searching for more unusual beads, I came across artisan (lampwork) beads and started using these beautiful beads, created by very talented glass artists, in my designs. I sold my jewellery at Christmas craft fairs last year and now an opportunity has arisen for me to open an atelier with my friend Katherine(Kara Bijoux).
