Über mich

Many times I receive comments on the quality craftsmanship of my work, so first and foremost I will have you know that my grandmother is the one who taught me to sew when I was tall enough for my foot to reach the sewing machine pedal. Thank you Grandma!! I believe that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing well! I'm drawn to the old and antique: styles, materials and craftsmanship. Isn't it satisfying to hold and appreciate a well made item?
So, I've been sewing my whole life, nearly, and got degrees in Fine Arts and Spanish in Wisconsin. Now I live in Spain. My work has been in Vogue, Woman, and on the catwalk with Sita Murt, and has been in boutiques in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Rome and Minneapolis.
I would also like to thank Zia Graziella for the scraps of beautiful Italian fabric, and to everyone else who has passed bits and pieces my way.
