Über mich

All pieces are original designs handcrafted in my studio in Gardiner, New York. I use a variety of techniques and materials to create these whimsical designs featuring animals and nature as a theme.

My work is a result of my interactions and fascination with nature. I love to combine techniques and materials and especially love experimenting with new things.

I received a B.A. in Art and a B.S. in Biology from SUNY New Paltz in 2000 and have been working full time in the arts since. I've had the privilege to work with and learn from artist Bill Richards who developed the "Art of Necessity." This program facilitates the use of the creative process as a tool for aiding healing in children and adults with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries.

I create and work in my studio full-time, year round. From Spring to Fall I work as a Freefall Videographer at Skydive the Ranch.

On Wednesdays I volunteer at the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, N.Y. Visit nywolf.org for more info. and to schedule a visit.
