Hi! Thank you for stopping by! My name is Nicky and crafting makes me happy :D As a little girl i used to spend a lot of time in my father's fabric store playing, cutting little samples, getting to know all different kinds of materials... I love fabrics, textures, colours. My love for crafting led me to study Fine Arts but i hardly ever had any time to do any serious painting. I married quite young, started a family. My precious gang of four (boys...:D) made me forget all about painting. After 15 years as a full time mom - anyone who has done it can understand :D- i arrived at a critical point: i just had to get something started... I create all sorts of things, from lavender filled sachets to handbags and from jewellery to fine art, but i specialize on painting onto fabric. Every piece is meticulously hand painted with fine brush. It takes a lot of time and patience but the result is a piece of artwork that is trully unique and comes with a numbered and signed certificate. I also sell my work in art shows and craft fairs. Everything you see here in my Dawanda shop is handcrafted in my home based studio (100% smoke-free, pet-free) located in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki - Greece - Europe.
