Über mich

I have always been passionate about fabric and sewing, especially using strong color, patterns, and texture...the three things that I cannot resist. The bolder the better! Making jewelry happened quite by accident. I had decided at one point to sell jewelry that coordinated with my purses, and it didn't take long for the "jewelry bug" to hit. Before long, I too was making jewelry.
I hold a bachelor in Marketing with a minor in Fashion Merchandising, but my real training came from my parents. My mother, a trained Home Economics teacher (Hauswirtschaftsleiterin), taught me how to sew as soon as I was big enough to sit at the sewing machine table. My father, holds a degree in art and is a professional artist, was always narrating every painting, art piece, or other object that would stay still long enough for us to observe. He believed that blank paper and crayons was the best thing for creativity.

January of 2007 I married my best friend and moved to Germany to be together. He is also my business partner and every day with him is an adventure. Although Germany is quite different from the US, I am coming to love it more each day and find that it fits me quite well.
