Über mich

I got the creative bug at a very early age. My first projects were hand sewn clothes for my Barbie made from scraps I found in my mum's closet. After sewing came crochet and knitting and needle point. A few years ago I discovered an amazing book:
Beaded Jewelry by Maya Brenner and a new hobby was born. A hobby that soon became a passion and obsession: finding that perfect bead and how to incorporate it into a new project. Very soon I had created over a hundred different pieces. During this time I have learned much about gems, findings, strings and wire and some new techniques such as wire wrapping. But my first love remains with 'The Bead' with its infinite options hence the name of my shop: somelittlethings which stands for all the pretty little beads.
