Über mich

Minicyn manifested after I retired as a Creative director for a non-profit publishing company to fulfill my love to create 3D tactile pieces. Now I have all the time in the world to create, I feel completely spoilt. My partner and I have also timed it with a big move to Paris, so here I am with my new re-found career which I abandoned 14 years ago... and poorly spoken french but improving:). My partner is German and speaks fluent french and german so if you want to express to me in either languages please feel free.

My long serious love affair with jewelry started back in 1993 in Auckland, New Zealand where I completed a 3 year Diploma in Applied Design (major in jewelry), and my medium then ranged in wood, porcelain, silver, brass, plastic and paper! I then had a business supplying to stores nationally within NZ but decided to quit after 2 years to study graphic design. Currently my medium is rather limited as I am still finding my way around Paris.
I hope you will enjoy browsing as much as owning handmade unique, limited edition simple contemporary pieces that are timeless.

I felt in love with your work! I have never seen jewellery like this before: lovely, interesting, surprising and excactly how I would do it (if I would have the talent). My voucher will go to you, and I hope christmas will bring me more of your minicyn world.
