***************************
I am a recent graduate of the Academy of Art University with a BFA in Computer Arts, New Media. Along with fashion design and crafting, photography is one of my greatest passions in life. I jump at every opportunity to bring my trusty SLR with me whenever I go on an outing, whether it be in the comfort of my small town, or in a foreign country far across the ocean.
I began sewing and studying kimono at the age of sixteen, gradually teaching myself along the way the arts of yuzen, shibori, roketsuzome, tsujigahana, and Japanese embroidery. In 2003, I taught myself the art of tsunami kanzashi using images of completed compositions as my only source.
I spend many, many, MANY hours of hard effort into making each of my handcrafted goodies, using only top-quality materials. All of the kanzashi and kimono I make are works of art, which have been greatly appreciated by my previous customers.
