Hi, thanks for visiting! I'm Tori and I am a hopeless art addict. I put a lot of care, love and attention into each of my pieces and I hope you enjoy them. I am just getting started here on Dawanda and I'm very excited to hear what you think about my work, so please let me know if you have any comments or suggestions. I like to do a lot of drawing, and I do it every day. The great thing about small to medium size drawings is their sense of intimacy. To me they are really meant to be held and admired up close and personal. You may have experienced the same thing if you ever saw a painting that you really liked in a book and then saw it in real life. You just realize that there is no substitute for having the genuine article right in front of you - and I hope my work gives you the same feeling. I will primarily be working on drawings and monotypes; all my designs are handmade and unique. Everything will be on acid-free archival paper unless otherwise stated. I am also open to making art on request, so if you're not finding what you're looking for, please make a request. *all images copyright, so please ask before using. _____ So what's a monotype, anyway? A monotype is made by painting onto a smooth, non-porous surface like glass and then pressing a piece of paper onto it to transfer the image (I press my monotypes by hand using a burnishing tool). This can result in pictures with uniquely airy qualities.
